Too long....
There’s always the dreaded subject of “Writer’s Block”. What do you do to overcome it?
I don't ever really overcome it. It just comes and goes. It's like the flu almost.
Okay! So, what do you like to write about most?
I like to spin yarns of weird-ass characters toting along other weird-ass characters across vast landscapes along a highly imagined and psycholic plot line. In other words... I LIKE WEIRD. I mainly write psycholical poetry or sci-fi stuff.
Aha! What about the bad? What kind of writing do you like the least?
hm... romance/erotic. Yeah. Not so good with that. Virgin and all... X3 Ugh....they don't know how to write either!!!
Do you have a favorite-FAVORITE author? Or just somebody/something inspiring to get you motivated?
Uh.....not really. I can't even remember most of their names.
Awesome! So, what is the most you’ve ever written at once, or what is your longest piece?
The longest thing I ever wrote was a story called "Demon Kin" about this guy who finds out he is descended from demons and has to save this other world from an evil miasma-type creature and yadda yadda... it got to I think the 200-page marker before I eventually stopped. It was never finished. I felt unsure of the plot and didn't like how it was going. Planning on rewriting the whole thing under a different title, "Realm of the Deva".
Alright, writers tend to ‘baby’ certain characters. What are one or two characters you simply could not live without currently?
Baby? If by that, you mean abuse to no end... then it would have to be Shirotaka Haruki. He's a character I've had in my mind for years and one of the first I really created. I don't baby any of my characters though. Their lives are all pretty fucked up.
I see. Well, how do you go about with writing? Any particular format or process?
Um....go with the flow...?
Gasp! You’re faced with the dilemma of killing one character off. Which one is it and why?
Um, it doesn't really matter. If they are important enough, I'd just bring them back to life later by some "twist of fate". BTW, I kill a lot of minor characters off all the time.
Well, is there any particular advice you would give to other Authors?
